I owe my love of movies to my father. He started taking me to the movies when I was about 3 months old. I wasn't able to sit up on my own, so he had to bring pillows for me to sit on and to prop me up so I wouldn't fall over. We went to the movies at least once a week. It wasn't unusual to see 5 or 6 movies in a week after I got older, which means that I've seen thousands of movies.

I have over 450 DVD's and videos in my private collection. I would like a lot more. In an average month I watch between 5 and 10 movies or about 100 in a year.

My love of television started when I was very young as well. My first word was "Batman." I probably watch too much television, but that means that I'll have a lot more to talk about.

I won my first writing competition when I was 10 and have been writing ever since. I've written several humorous pieces and some political and social satire. I've also written informative articles on a variety of subjects. I've also written 5 books.

I've written 9 screenplays. The last three have done well in competitions. If you'd like to read more about them, check out my screenwriting page.

I always liked humorous poetry. My poem, "Spendin' My Life on Hold", got me nominated for Poet of the Year from the International Open Poetry Contest.

I started Movies, Money and More to combine my love of movies with my love of writing.

The money part comes from the fact that how much money I have affects how many movies I can see and buy. It takes money to run the newsletter and the website. When you get right down to it, money is the reason for just about everything. If I can help you save or make some, maybe you'll have more time for movies too.
