A Traffic Infraction Can Cost You Thousands!by RockThe state of Virginia has passed Civil Remedial Fees for residents effective July 1, 2007 that can raise the price of a traffic ticket well over $3,500! If you want to read the text, visit VA Bill Tracking System. Where you see something like $3503 that means every year. In other words, $3503 means $350 + $350 + $350 or $1,050 in three years! Virginia expects to raise $65 million for road repairs with these new fees. If I lived in Virginia, I'd want to know what they're doing with the millions they already collect in taxes for road repair, because it apparently isn't going where it's supposed to if they have to do something like this. If they get away with it, it won't take long for this to spread like a disease to other states. Michigan, New Jersey, New York and Texas already have similar, but not as severe, fees on traffic violations. I'm sure politicians in other states are salivating at getting this money if they can get away it too. They're Out There Waiting To Ticket You. Find them Before They Find You! ![]() |
