National Lampoon's Stoned Age - Unratedby Rock Adam Rifkin wrote, directed and stars as Ishbo, a prehistoric inventor whose inventions never quite seem to work, but who can blame him when he's surrounded by Neanderthals? And his love life isn't any better. His father, the leader of the tribe, played by David Carradine, thinks he's a wimp and plans on Ishbo's obnoxious brother (Hayes MacArthur) to take over after he's gone. Ishbo has had a crush on Fartart (Ali Larter) since they were they were little, but she doesn't want anything to do with him. Instead she'd rather be with his much stronger, but dumber brother. Stoned Age has lots of good jokes and funny scenes, but my all-time favorite caveman comedy still has to be Caveman. I'd have to toss a coin to figure out if this was better than Land of the Lost.
